Why Do I Always Feel Like I'm Starting Over?

What if you were never really starting from scratch?

"I feel like I'm always starting over from scratch."

This is a sentence I hear very often during my karma readings.

After a separation, everything has to be rebuilt.

After a career change, it feels as though everything begins again.

Even after years of inner work, certain difficulties seem to reappear.

Sometimes, even after reaching an important goal, a strange feeling settles in—the feeling of being back where you started.

This naturally raises a question:

Why do I always feel like I'm starting over?

What if this feeling did not mean you were failing… but simply that you were entering a new cycle of your evolution?

Starting Over… or Entering a New Cycle?

In our society, we tend to believe that life should follow a straight line.

Study.

Find a job.

Build a family.

Progress steadily.

Accumulate.

Move forward.

Yet life rarely unfolds that way.

Life is made of cycles.

Cycles of construction.

Cycles of learning.

Cycles of stillness.

Cycles of transformation.

And above all, cycles of creation.

But also cycles of barrenness and fertility.

Periods during which nothing seems to move forward.

And others in which everything suddenly becomes possible.

When one of these cycles comes to an end, it is common to feel that everything is disappearing.

But what disappears is not your life.

It is simply a structure that has fulfilled its purpose.

Why Is This Feeling So Powerful?

Because we often mistake the end of a cycle for failure.

We believe we are losing everything we have built.

In reality, nothing is lost.

Every experience leaves its mark.

Every relationship transforms us.

Every difficulty develops new abilities.

Every success builds another part of who we are.

Even periods of barrenness have an essential role.

They allow integration.

Maturation.

Preparation.

You never return to your starting point.

You move forward carrying a different experience.

You are simply looking at a new landscape.

Do Cycles Really Repeat Themselves?

Yes.

But never in exactly the same way.

During my karma readings, I often observe that certain situations seem to return again and again.

A new relationship resembles the previous one.

A new position brings the same difficulties.

A new project encounters familiar obstacles.

It may feel as though life keeps repeating itself endlessly.

Yet it is not the events that are repeating.

It is often our inner structures that continue organizing the way we experience them.

As long as that inner organization remains unchanged, life presents us with different circumstances that illuminate the very same underlying mechanisms.

These mechanisms also express themselves through cycles of fertility and barrenness.

Moments when everything flows naturally.

And others when nothing seems able to take shape.

Why Do Some Projects Stop Just Before Succeeding?

Some people feel as though they are constantly beginning something new.

Creating.

Imagining.

Building.

Then suddenly everything stops.

The project slows down.

The energy fades.

Obstacles begin to accumulate.

They assume they simply lack determination.

Yet sometimes what is happening deserves to be understood differently.

In my approach to karma reading, these periods often reflect an inner structure that has reached its limits.

But they may also correspond to a necessary phase of barrenness.

A period during which life temporarily suspends external movement in order to allow an inner transformation to take place.

Life does not always ask us to accelerate.

Sometimes it invites us to transform the very way we create.

The project itself is not being questioned.

It is the inner structure supporting it.

Why Do Some People Spend Their Whole Lives Starting Over?

Some people regularly change careers.

Others move from place to place.

Some experience one relationship after another.

Others continually begin a new phase of inner work.

They search for the right method.

The right partner.

The right place.

The right moment.

But if the inner structure remains the same, only the scenery changes while the story itself barely evolves.

And as long as cycles of barrenness are misunderstood, they are often experienced as obstacles instead of natural phases.

It is therefore not always the outside world that needs to change.

Sometimes it is the way we position ourselves internally in relation to our own life.

My Work Is to Transform These Cycles

During a karma reading, my purpose is not simply to understand what is happening to you.

I seek to identify the inner structure that organizes these recurring patterns.

Why do the same situations keep returning?

Why do certain cycles seem as though they never truly end?

Why do some projects always stop at exactly the same stage?

Why do you constantly feel as though you are starting from scratch?

And how are your own cycles of barrenness and fertility organized?

The purpose of the sessions is to transform these cycles.

To stop merely enduring them and begin experiencing them from another level of awareness.

To heal whatever within you makes certain periods barren or unproductive.

And to reconnect you with what is deeply fertile within your own life.

When this inner organization becomes conscious, it becomes possible to recover a new sense of inner coherence.

The same scenarios gradually stop repeating themselves.

Not because life magically changes.

But because the way you inhabit your life evolves.

You Are Never Starting From Scratch

You begin again with more experience.

More understanding.

Greater awareness.

Each cycle prepares you for the next.

Every stage quietly builds the one that follows.

Even the periods during which nothing seems to move forward are part of that process.

Life does not bring you back to where you started.

It simply invites you to create in a different way.

And it is often at that precise moment that a profoundly different life begins.
